Digitale Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie starts 23/24 – DLNS I 🇬🇧
WS Racing by Puresim delivered an impressive performance at the kickoff of the Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series Season 5. Following an excellent qualification as the fastest BMW in the entire field, Harley Houghtom and Konstantin Stolzenburg ventured into the challenging 3.5-hour race, characterized by the dominant Mercedes Armada.
Despite fierce competition, our drivers maintained the 5th position with a sophisticated strategy, even temporarily advancing to 3rd place. Unfortunately, an unfortunate contact resulted in a drive-through penalty, costing us several positions. Nevertheless, our team demonstrated resilience, pushed the throttle to the maximum, and looked determinedly ahead.
The thrilling comeback after the last pit stop reached its peak in the final corner, where Konstantin Stolzenburg tenaciously secured the 10th position. In arguably the toughest Nordschleifen league, we not only achieved the best possible result but were also the second-best BMW in the GT3 field – an outstanding outcome that undoubtedly motivates our team to face the upcoming races with confidence and determination.
